Given the nature of second-hand goods, it is likely that items will be somewhat damaged or dirty when you receive them. However, if a contents check is requested and your item is found to differ significantly from its description, we should be able to return it to the sender.

In general, Sendico will not negotiate with sellers regarding item returns or refunds. However, if an item is significantly different than stated, damaged upon arrival at our warehouse, or missing, we will look into these cases.

The storage limit of all items we receive is 180 days, but if users contact support to request an extension, we will, without question, allow you to store items for as long as you need.

If no message is received, even if your account is active, we will presume that the item is no longer wanted and it will be disposed of.

This kind of request has often led to damaged products in the past and we have therefore decided to stop offering this service. If you wish to remove the original item boxes, manuals, etc, then this is possible, but we will not ship your items without protective packaging

As Sendico itself is a proxy service and not a shop, we cannot accept returns for parcels as we have already accepted them from the original sellers and the "claims" deadline will have already expired. If you request a contents check when you order your item initially, you will be able to review product photos which we provide and file a claim for a return if the product differs significantly from the listing description.

Yes. If more than one Sendico user bids on the same item, you can participate in a bidding war in the same way that you would on Yahoo. When bidding against other Sendico users however, your bids will not show on Yahoo as we will only place the current max bid placed through Sendico. This may cause the final price which you pay for your item to be higher than the one listed on Yahoo.

Customers using the sniper bidding feature on our platform have the flexibility to manage their bids effectively. They can cancel or edit sniper bids at any time before the bid is actually placed, providing them with greater control over their auction strategies. Moreover, to ensure fair competition, our system prevents sniper bids from being placed if they exceed the buyout price. In auctions where auto-extension is enabled, once a sniper bid is placed, the auction will be extended by 5 minutes, granting other bidders the opportunity to respond. It's important to note that users may need to refresh the page to see the updated time extension. Additionally, to avoid unnecessary bids and save customers from potential losses, our system automatically cancels sniper bids if another bidder has already placed a higher bid. At every step, we aim to provide a seamless and fair auction experience for our valued customers.

In general, you will not have to pay consumption tax. However, for certain auctions where sellers are online stores rather than individual sellers, your order will incur consumption tax.

In these cases, we will charge you the consumption tax (8% of the winning item price) when item arrives in our warehouse.

In the majority of cases this is due to your PayPal email address not matching your Sendico account email. We cannot process payments from non-matching addresses as this constitutes identity theft.

In the majority of cases card rejection is due to failing 3D authentication, which results in your bank rejecting the payment. This is usually due to one of the following reasons:

1) Your Sendico billing address does not match the details held by your bank.

2) Your card information is incorrect.

3) Your bank has frozen your card or wants to ensure that this is not a malicious transfer.

If your card information is correct then we recommend contacting your bank for an explanation as to why your card was rejected.

This is because there is another user with a higher maximum bid than you. The "current price" displayed on the auction is the previous users max bid + the minimum bid increase amount.

Example:

Current winners maximum bid: ¥5000

Current price: ¥1000

Minimum bid increase: ¥100

If you try to bid 1100 here, you will be automatically be outbid by the user with a max bid of 5000. Likewise, if you bid 2500, you will be outbid and the current price will bump up to 2500. The only way you would become the highest bidder of this auction is to bid 5100.
